Jumping for Joy - Charitable Donation

Lions On October 12h Battle and Villages Lions President Paul Webb, accompanied by
Lyn King and Wendy Cattaway, visited Hollington Gymnastics Club and presented a cheque for £1,000 to toward the cost of a new Double Mini Trampoline (DMT) for the amazing vaults their young gymnasts do.

The equipment cost £3,998 and is now installed and in use by the young gymnasts from Battle, Bexhill and Hastings area in their complex exercises and routines, who are based at the Hollington Gymnastic Club, when they demonstrated their exceptional skills for the Lions. The initiative for this was promoted by Gatwick Flyers, a well known local trampoline club based in Robertsbridge.

And don’t forget – if you know of a local needy cause – let us know – we are here to serve the community. Remember, we still have £1,000’s you have helped us raise to donate to local causes, particularly the elderly, deprived and youth. Better still, why not come and join us!!

Or if you know a needy cause, let us know, we may be able to help.
